Create Account Wizard

Redesign

Description

Redesigning the Create Account Wizard to Improve Usability and Business Metrics

Analysis of existing CAW

1. Remove unnecessary radio buttons and replace them with a clear question that reflects the essence of the choice.

2. Make the visibility of the checkbox activation results more obvious. If the checkbox affects the course of actions, make it more noticeable.

3. Consider eliminating password confirmation to reduce the time required to fill out the form. Passwords can be saved and recovered upon request.

4. Move optional fields to a separate section to visually reduce the form's complexity and avoid redundant information duplication.
1. Incomplete representation of the completion progress (You can visually indicate that the first item is completed).

2. Repetition. It can be divided into monthly/yearly payment options.
1. Display all payment options immediately to reduce the number of clicks.

2. The dropdown's purpose is not immediately clear. If it's for selecting attached cards, you can display them upon activating the "Card Number" field. If it's for selecting a payment system, you can automatically detect and display supported options with icons in the "Card Number" field.
1. Fields can be redistributed to visually reduce the form's size and eliminate the need for scrolling.
1. There is an inconsistency in the UX Copy - in the "Review & Checkout" field, users expect to be able to review the entered data, but here it refers to agreeing to the terms and conditions.

Additional changes

1. Added a familiar entry point to determine the next step.

2. Added a summary for the ability to review the entered information and make changes if necessary.
